A2 · Lição 3: Futuro: Will e Going to

Objetivos da lição

  • Diferenciar e usar will e going to
  • Falar sobre planos, previsões e decisões espontâneas
  • Usar o presente contínuo com sentido de futuro (planos marcados)

Explicação

1. Going to

Estrutura: sujeito + to be (am/is/are) + going to + verbo

Usado para: - Planos e intenções já decididos antes de falar - Previsões com evidência visível no presente

I am going to travel to Portugal next month. → Eu vou viajar para Portugal mês que vem. (plano já decidido) Look at those clouds! It is going to rain. → Olha aquelas nuvens! Vai chover. (evidência visível agora)

Negativa: to be + not + going to + verbo

She isn't going to come to the party.

Interrogativa: to be + sujeito + going to + verbo?

Are you going to study tonight?

2. Will

Estrutura: sujeito + will (contração: 'll) + verbo (sem "to")

Usado para: - Decisões espontâneas (tomadas no momento da fala) - Previsões sem evidência concreta (opinião, achismo) - Promessas, ofertas, pedidos

The phone is ringing. I'll answer it. → O telefone está tocando. Eu vou atender. (decisão espontânea) I think it will be sunny tomorrow. → Eu acho que vai fazer sol amanhã. (previsão/opinião) I will always love you. → Eu sempre vou te amar. (promessa) Will you help me with this box? → Você pode me ajudar com esta caixa? (pedido)

Negativa: sujeito + won't (will not) + verbo

I won't tell anyone. → Eu não vou contar para ninguém.

Interrogativa: Will + sujeito + verbo?

Will you come to my party?

4. Presente contínuo com sentido de futuro
