1. Perguntas mais comuns (e como abordá-las)

Pergunta O que o entrevistador quer saber
"Tell me about yourself."
"Why do you want to work here?"
"What are your strengths/weaknesses?" Autoconhecimento e honestidade (mas com estratégia)
"Why are you leaving your current job?" Motivos profissionais, nunca fale mal do empregador anterior
"Where do you see yourself in 5 years?" Ambição alinhada com a vaga/empresa
"Tell me about a time you faced a challenge." Pergunta comportamental → use a técnica STAR
"What's your salary expectation?" Veja a Lição 7, Negociação

Resposta modelo, "Tell me about yourself":

"I'm a marketing professional with five years of experience, currently working as a Digital Marketing Specialist at ABC Company. I specialize in social media strategy and have led campaigns that increased engagement by over 30%. I'm now looking for a new challenge where I can apply my skills to a larger scale, which is why I'm excited about this opportunity."

2. A técnica STAR (para perguntas comportamentais)

Usada para responder perguntas do tipo "Tell me about a time when..." ou "Give me an example of...":

Letra Significado O que incluir
Situation Situação Contexto breve do que aconteceu
Task Tarefa Qual era seu objetivo/responsabilidade
Action Ação O que você fez especificamente
Result Resultado O resultado, de preferência com números

Exemplo de resposta com STAR:

(S) "At my previous job, we had a client who was unhappy with a delayed delivery. (T) As the account manager, it was my responsibility to resolve the issue and keep the client. (A) I contacted the client immediately, explained the situation transparently, and offered a discount plus expedited shipping. (R) As a result, the client not only stayed with us but increased their order by 20% the following quarter."

"I used to struggle with public speaking, but I've been actively working on it, I joined a local Toastmasters group and have presented at three team meetings this year."

4. Perguntas para você fazer ao entrevistador

Sempre tenha 2-3 perguntas prontas, isso mostra interesse genuíno:

  • "What does success look like in this role after the first six months?"
  • "Can you tell me more about the team I'd be working with?"
  • "What are the biggest challenges facing the team right now?"
  • "What do you enjoy most about working here?"
  • "What are the next steps in the hiring process?"

Vocabulário: Entrevista

Inglês Português
hiring manager responsável pela contratação
job offer proposta de emprego
onboarding processo de integração
probation period período de experiência
background check verificação de antecedentes
notice period aviso prévio
to follow up dar continuidade (ex.: enviar e-mail após a entrevista)
red flag sinal de alerta
a good fit um bom encaixe (para a vaga/cultura)

Diálogo modelo

Interviewer: So, tell me about a time you had to work under pressure. Candidate: Sure. Last year, we had a product launch and our lead developer suddenly left the company two weeks before the deadline. As the project manager, I had to quickly reorganize the team's responsibilities. I brought in a freelancer to cover the gap and reprioritized tasks. We ended up launching only two days behind schedule, and the product performed above expectations in its first month. Interviewer: That's impressive. Do you have any questions for me? Candidate: Yes, what does success look like in this role after the first six months?

4) Traduza:
